Bosnia Medjugorje

Pilgrims travelling with Tangney Tours enjoy an organised programme which includes Masses and walking tours exclusively for our pilgrims and guided by English speaking Spiritual Leaders and/or our representatives.

The main message of Medjugorje is Peace. Since June 24 1981 Mary is said to have been appearing to several villagers and it is believed that she still visits them today.

Medjugorje is situated in Western Herzegovina approximately 25 kilometres South-West of Mostar and close to the Croatian border. It has now been almost 30 years since the first apparition and Medjugorje is drawing more and more pilgrims each year.
