Tangney Tours have been taking pilgrims to Lourdes for over 30 years. We, more than most, understand the unique needs and expectations of travellers and have built our service and programmes around the years of experience and knowledge gained from specialising in Pilgrimages to this Holy Shrine. We are proud to offer a great deal more than the minimum ensuring a friendly, courteous and comfortable pilgrimage right through from your initial enquiry to your journey home.

Options to travel by air or luxury air-conditioned coach.

Less able pilgrims and their helpers are welcome on our chartered flights.

All our charter flights from Stansted and Lourdes operate with jet-bridges and therefore no steps.

Our charter flights include in-flight refreshments and fly direct to Lourdes airport.

All clients, individuals and groups are met at the airport and offered our free coach transfer to their hotel.

Free wheelchair loan available to Tangney Tours pilgrims whilst in Lourdes.

All our pilgrims receive a free Prayer Book and Badge.

The Tangney Tours Package

Pilgrims travelling with Tangney Tours enjoy an organised programme. Your programme which includes masses, walking tours, and excursions are organised specially for our pilgrims and guided by English speaking spiritual leaders and resident representatives in Lourdes.

Introductory Film Presentation
On your arrival you are invited to an introductory film presentation, prepared by the sanctuaries, which gives pilgrims an insight into Lourdes, its sanctuaries and the town.

Mass
During your visit you will be invited to attend Mass in some of the many chapels within the domain. Masses are given by local english speaking priests or by priests on a Tangney Tours group pilgrimage.

Torchlight Processions, International and Grotto Masses
Tangney Tours organises your spiritual leader, gathering and participation for the Blessed Sacrament Procession, Torchlight Procession and the International and Grotto Masses.

Excursions
Our organised visits to Bartrès, Gavarnie and Pont d’Espagne are accompanied by a local guide and/or spiritual leader.

Guided tours and Stations of the Cross
Our guided tours of ‘Lourdes and the life of Bernadette’ are exclusive to our pilgrims as is the Stations of the Cross with spiritual leader.

Resident Representatives
All our pilgrims are supported by our resident English speaking representatives. All speak fluent french and are completely familiar with the activities, facilities and services Lourdes has to offer
visitors. Should you experience any problems, be they with services offered or health, they will provide you with the best advice and support available. Our representatives are there to greet you on your arrival and available to you every day during your stay.
