Information on BREXIT

Dear Pilgrim Friends,

The UK is leaving the EU on the 31st of January 2020 - Brexit.

So what does this mean for foreign travel, and especially pilgrimages, within the EC.

To the best of our knowledge there is nothing for our pilgrims to be concerned about during 2020, the transition year, as effectively nothing will change.

Tangney Tours is fully licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL) and in addition we are bonded members of ABTA and also members of AITO.

These licenses and bonds ensure that Tangney Tours has sufficient reserves of money in place to weather most situations in the most unlikely event of travel becoming a challenge. If travel were to be suspended, Tangney Tours will be able to make 100% refund of all monies paid to the company by its customers.

Travel insurance that we offer will still be valid in all circumstances, subject to all the normal terms and conditions being adhered to.

The European Health Insurnce Card - EHIC will be retained for 2020.

Our travel insurance product is prepared for eventualities, provided you have purchased it.

The coach companies we use all have drivers that have international driving licenses and all their vehicles are approved for travel within the EU.

Passports - we recommend that you check your passport validity, either by telephoning 0300 222 0000 or by clicking here.

All of the staff in our overseas locations all have local European residency and work contracts so will continue to be available to look after our customers.

You can be assured that your booking with us is 100% secure.

Our company has been trading for over 45 years and we are planning to continue trading for many, many more years to come.

We look forward to welcoming you on pilgrimage with us this year!

The Tangney Team
