Leading a group can be a daunting prospect, trying to organise a pilgrimage or tour by yourself can be a challenge even for the most capable, such as language barriers, booking for mass venues, flights and ferry crossings, all of these need to be brought into consideration. We are on hand to ensure the process is made as easy and simple as possible for you. As well as taking care of all the reservations, bookings, travel insurance and other requests and requirements, booking with us also ensures the passenger is financially fully protected.

Talk to us about your group and we will be able to suggest some excellent ideas and itineraries for consideration. We can often combine tours with major religious events. Our excellent reputation enables us to secure the best accommodation, guides and transportation where others will often compromise.
We recommend you allow as much time as possible for the planning of your pilgrimage. Destinations such as the Holy Land require flights to be reserved months in advance, where a coach tour can be organised at relatively short notice. Talk to us for more advice on this.
Planning your pilgrimage
When you have chosen a destination and method of transport, we will be pleased to produce bookings forms and posters in order for you to promote the pilgrimage successfully. We can also advertise it online and in certain publications.
Your dedicated team member (click here to meet them) here at Tangney Tours will be able to liaise with you as much or as little as you require. This could be to discuss how many people have booked, any updates or special requirements, changes in the itinerary or any other elements of the pilgrimage.
Some groups also like us to help with their pre-pilgrimage planning meetings, some of which we attend or simply provide more detailed information to be distributed.
Travelling with us
We can have one of our experienced representatives present for your departure at most UK airports. Subject to your requirements, we can also provide a courier throughout your pilgrimage and a local guide if required. Most groups opt for our full courier service which gives them peace of mind throughout their pilgrimage. Furthermore, with full back up and support from our UK office available 24 hours a day, you can rest assured that we are with you every step of the way.
Follow up
Once returned, we provide all our pilgrims with feedback questionnaires which are independent of Tangney Tours and published online.
