Lourdes, Burgos, Santiago de Compostela and Fatima
We travel to Lourdes by air and spend our first 2 nights' in Lourdes, following our normal pilgrimage programme.
We leave Lourdes and our pilgrimage continues by luxury coach to Burgos for an overnight stop. The following morning we depart for Santiago de Compostela, the burial place of St James and the final destination of thousands of pilgrims walking the Camino, '
"The path of St James". Its old town and historic centre are set around the Cathedral and it is a designated UNESCO world heritage site. We will stay here for 2 nights before leaving for Fatima.
Our last 3 nights will be spent in Fatima following the traditional pilgrimage programme. Mass will be celebrated daily and on the last day we fly back to London from Lisbon.
