On the 24th of June 1981, six children from the small village of Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina reported seeing an apparition of the Virgin Mary on a hill called Podbrdo, now known as Apparition Hill. The Virgin Mary, referred to as the “Queen of Peace” by the visionaries, reportedly gave messages of peace, conversion, faith, prayer, and fasting.
The apparitions reportedly continued daily for some of the visionaries, while others experienced them less frequently. These occurrences quickly attracted attention from locals and pilgrims.
Today Medjugorje welcomes millions of pilgrims annually.
Our Medjugorje itineraries visit many of the most famous religious sites including Apparition Hill, the Stations of the Cross along Mt Krizevac to a 14 m high cross, erected by parishioners in 1933 in commemoration of the 1900 years of the death Jesus Christ.
An outline itinerary of our Pilgrimage
Day 1
Fly from London Gatwick at 10:00 to Split, arriving at 13:30
On arrival you will meet our local guide and transfer by coach to Medjugorje for three nights.
Day 2
Introduction to Medjugorje and Apparition Hill. Since 1981 in a small village called Medjugorje, in Bosnia Herzegovina, the Blessed Virgin Mary has been appearing and giving message to the world.

Day 3
Private Mass
10.00 Follow Stations of the Cross along Mt Krizevac – to a 14 m high cross, erected by parishioners in 1933 in commemoration of the 1900 years of the death Jesus Christ.
Afternoon visit to Mostar – the historic town, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town. Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge.

Meeting with the visionaries if possible.
Free time before departing for Airport for return flight to London – Flight from Split at 17:00 to London Gatwick
