Hallam Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage
The Lourdes pastoral theme
Over the next three years, the Sanctuary of Lourdes is inviting us on a spiritual pilgrimage, a journey to the heart of the Virgin Mary’s story. We’ll go step by step, guided by the Gospel of Luke.
Our journey, our hope
2026 : the Annunciation
“Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you” (Lk. 1:28)
This is the year of the welcome, of listening and of the ‘yes’ that changed everything.
2027 : the Visitation
“In those days Mary set out and went with haste…” (Lk. 1 :39)
This is the year of service, of joyful charity and of reaching out to others.
2028 : the Magnificat
“His mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.” (Lk. 1:50)
This is the year of praise, of gratitude and of singing in acknowledgement of God’s wonders.

26th June – 2nd July 2026!
Departing from Leeds, we will fly on a charter flight direct to Lourdes.
Once in Lourdes we will participate in the pilgrimage program which will be led by Bishop Ralph Heskett, CSsR.
